This Privacy Policy explains how MG Messenging ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects information when you use our delivery, pickup and messenger services, our website, and our text message and email notifications.
1. Information we collect
- Contact details: names, mobile phone numbers, email addresses and business names of senders and recipients.
- Delivery details: pickup and delivery addresses, package quantities, notes, and delivery times.
- Proof of delivery: photos of delivered or picked-up items, signatures, and the name of the person who signed.
- Driver location: the location of our drivers while on a route, used to plan routes and estimate arrival times.
- Messaging records: records of the notifications we send and your replies, including opt-out (STOP) requests.
2. How we use information
- To perform deliveries and pickups and plan routes.
- To send delivery and pickup notifications by text message and/or email.
- To provide proof of delivery to the sender and recipient.
- To respond to questions and resolve problems.
- To keep records required for billing and our business operations.
3. SMS / text messaging privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except with service providers (such as our SMS delivery provider) that help us send the messages you agreed to receive.

4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:
- With the sender and/or recipient of a shipment (for example, the delivery confirmation and proof-of-delivery photo).
- With service providers that help us run our services, such as hosting, mapping, email and SMS delivery providers, and only as needed to provide the services.
- When required by law, or to protect our rights, our customers, or the public.
5. Data retention
Proof-of-delivery photos are automatically deleted after a limited retention period. Other delivery records are kept as long as needed for our business, billing and legal obligations.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including access controls and encrypted connections. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
7. Your choices
- Reply STOP to stop text messages.
- Contact us to stop email notifications, or to ask about, correct or delete your information.
